Terms of Service — Ace o' Clubs

Last updated: 14 August 2026 · cards.lowe.lol

These terms cover the Ace o' Clubs Discord application ("the bot"). By adding it to a server or using any of its commands, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the bot.

1. What the bot is

Ace o' Clubs is a collecting game played inside Discord. The game is free to play; an optional paid subscription is available. It is operated by an individual, not a company, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Discord Inc., DC Comics, Warner Bros. Discovery, or any rights holder in the characters it depicts.

2. Who may use it

You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement for your country, and you must be using an account in good standing with Discord. Server administrators are responsible for whether the bot is appropriate for their community.

3. Your account and your collection

Everything the bot gives you — cards, comics, currency, items, progress — is a record in a database. It is licensed to you for use inside the bot, has no monetary value, and cannot be sold, transferred for real money, or exchanged outside the bot. Trading and the in-game market exist only for in-game items and in-game currency.

We may adjust, reset or remove in-game balances, prices and drop rates. This is a game under active development and balance changes are expected. Where a change would meaningfully devalue what somebody holds, we will say so publicly in advance where we reasonably can.

4. Fair play

Do not automate the bot with self-bots, scripts or macros; exploit bugs instead of reporting them; run multiple accounts to funnel rewards to one of them; or use the trade and market systems to sell in-game items for anything of real value. Any of these may result in your account being reset or removed, with or without notice.

If you find a bug that pays out, tell us. Nobody is punished for reporting one, and accounts that quietly farm one may be corrected.

5. Subscriptions

An optional paid subscription ("Justice League Reserve") is available. It provides a daily crate, an auto-advance convenience, the ability to open up to six packs in one press instead of one at a time, and a rate advantage: 10% more dispatches held, dispatches returning 25% faster, and 25% more room for cards and comics.

It grants no combat advantage of any kind — no attack, no health, no drop rates, no pull odds, no ladder rewards, and never a card. A subscriber's cards are not stronger and their pulls are not luckier; they get more attempts and more room to keep what those attempts win. Both of those limits are enforced by tests in the code rather than merely promised here.

What you are buying. A contribution to hosting and development, and access to those convenience features for the period stated at purchase. You are not buying cards, characters, artwork, or anything else in the game, and nothing bought carries any value outside the bot.

No character or artwork is behind the paywall. Every card, every comic and every piece of art in the game is available to every player without paying, and no stage of the ladder is reachable only by subscribers. The subscriber crate contains materials, currency and comics and cannot contain a card — enforced by a test, not by a promise on this page.

Price and renewal. The price and billing period are shown before you pay. The price is exclusive of VAT and sales tax, which is calculated and added at checkout according to your country, so the total you are charged may be higher than the headline price. The total is always shown before you pay.

How to cancel. Run /membership in Discord and press "Manage or cancel", or go to cards.lowe.lol/portal and sign in with Discord. Either takes you to Stripe's customer portal, where you can cancel, change your card, and read past invoices. You may cancel at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the time you have already paid for intact. A subscription that came from a code has nothing to cancel and nothing further to pay — it simply runs out.

Your right to cancel (UK/EU). If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By redeeming or otherwise using the subscription within that period you ask for it to begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once it has been supplied. Outside that, refunds are at our discretion — ask, and we will be reasonable.

Codes are non-transferable once redeemed and may not be resold.

If the bot is discontinued, subscriptions stop. Time already paid for and not yet delivered will be refunded pro rata where we can reasonably do so.

Payment is taken by Stripe, acting as merchant of record. Stripe is therefore the seller for the purposes of the transaction: it takes the payment, calculates and remits any VAT or sales tax, and issues your receipt. Your card details go to Stripe and never to us; all we receive back is whether a subscription is active and when its paid-up period ends. See the Privacy Policy, and Stripe's own terms at stripe.com/legal.

Chargebacks. Raising a chargeback rather than contacting us first may result in the account being removed. Talk to us; it is one person, and it is quicker.

6. Availability

The bot is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind. It may be offline, lose data, be changed, or be discontinued at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including loss of a collection.

7. Intellectual property

Character names, likenesses and comic book cover artwork are the property of their respective rights holders. No ownership of them is claimed, no endorsement is implied, and any subscription you buy is for access to features of this software — it is not a purchase of, or a licence to, any third-party character or artwork.

Any rights holder who objects to material used here may contact us and have it removed promptly.

8. Ending things

You may stop at any time. /forgetme deletes your account and everything in it, permanently. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

9. Changes and contact

These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them, and material changes will be announced in the support server. Questions, complaints, IP notices, refund requests and data requests: the support server.
